World Movement Disorder Day
We are celebrating Movement Disorder Day on the 29th of November.
Movement disorders are neurological conditions that affect bodily motor control, disrupting an individual’s life.
Prevalence is increasing, outpacing growth estimates. Parkinson’s Disease is now the fastest-growing brain disease.
We are sharing stories of those with Movement Disorders across our social media, including 49 year old Rodrigo Mendes who has suffered with Parkinson’s for 14 years.
He is extremely active and noticed his Parkinson’s symptoms during his frequent runs. Rodrigo is an inspiration to all and has climbed Kilimanjaro and is encouraging others to dream big and reach their goals.
