‘O Parkinsons’ to the tune of the Derry Air
Parkinson’s Ireland were invited to speak in the AV Room at Leinster House on Wednesday, the 17th of April.
During this presentation, co-founder of our Cork Branch “Perpetual Motion” choir Jerome Maume spoke about the choir and the importance of singing for those with PD.
Following this, Jerome took the opportunity to sing ‘O Parkinson’s’, a song he re-wrote to the tune of the Derry Air.
Jerome then took to the stage at our social gathering in October to perform the song.
Everyone in the room sang along, and we can not thank Jerome enough for providing such a touching and encouraging experience through song.
