The theme for this year’s week is ‘People’s Lives, Living with Parkinson’s Disease’. Our media representative, Mary Butler, will be promoting this theme throughout the week to raise awareness about living with Parkinson’s Disease in Ireland today.

Tuesday 10th April

Parkinson's Association of Ireland and The Dublin Brain Bank are running a quiz night during Parkinson's Awareness Week which runs from April  9th - 15th. The quiz will be held on April 10th in The Ruin Bar, Tara Street, Dublin 2. A table of 4 will cost €40 or €10 per person. Wednesday 11th April -

The Parkinson's Association of Ireland are joining the European Parkinson's Disease Association, Parkinson's UK and many other Parkinson's organisations on April 11th to celebrate WPD by participating and encouraging members / followers to participate in the #UniteForParkinsons campaign. Parkinson’s groups all over the world will unite on 11th April 2018 to raise awareness about the disease, using a dedicated campaign on social media, hashtag: #UniteForParkinsons.

Ballsbridge Hotel  16.30-21.00: AGM (for members only), followed at 17.30 by trailer and interviews re - upcoming Irish feature film 'The New Music' and 1930 motivational business speaker, Robert Carley on 'easy to do' life changes.

Sunday 15th April Annual Unity Walk

Join us to celebrate our Unity Walk. We will meet in the Alex Hotel, Dublin 2 at 11:30. Walk begins at 12 noon. We will walk around Merrion Square and return to the Alex Hotel for lunch and an afternoon of entertainment.
