Cathal Kelly: Walk to Rome

A massive congratulations and a sincere thank you are in order for Cathal Kelly, who completed his four month pilgrimage from Canterbury to Rome, known as the Via Francigena.

This is a route of over 2200 kilometres through the 5 countries of England, France, Switzerland, Italy and ending in the Vatican.

Cathal did this to raise money for our Mayo branch and Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

We are extremely grateful to Cathal and his dedication to raise funds and awareness for both charities.

Cathal received a fantastic and well earned celebratory welcome home in Swinford this weekend. Thank you Cathal and to everyone who supported you along the way.
